That's right all you rotorheads, the old website is completely gone and we have a new one. Which also means all the old news, links, videos, pictures, forum, your profile(s) etc... have been nuked! Don't ask why, it had to be done. Just create a new account and take advantage of all the new features (yes there will be lots of help files, eventually) that have been upgraded or added and enjoy it. There's still a lot of editing and stuff to add, or re-add, so it will still be a while before we are completely done. Info on how to use the new site can be found in the FAQ section. |

As with every year we have a list of events we think many members will want to attend or participate in if possible. These range from car club events to racing events across the state and beyond. Information about each of these can be found in the forum.

We had some great meets last year and if you missed one you missed out on some major fun! From hamburgers to Playboy Bunnies we covered just about everything you want in a car meet. Our normal Raleigh meets were held at various locations around town where we had great food and camaraderie to VIRginia International Raceway where we were able to meet and hang out with race teams and beautiful women. OK, the racing wasn't bad either... So to give you an idea on what you might have missed and what to expect more of in 2010 here are some pictures from various meets and events!

On any given weekend, there are more Mazdas on the road-race tracks of America than any other brand of vehicle. At the track, you'll see MX-5 Miata, RX-8, MAZDA 3, MAZDA 6, RX-7 and other vintage Mazda models competing, because every Mazda has the Soul of a Sports Car. In fact, the fastest growing road-racing class in the U.S. is the SCCA's Spec Miata class, with nearly 1,500 first- and second-generation Miatas tearing up America's racetracks, making it the most-raced production car in the world. Mazda's involvement in motorsports extends to its relationship with Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, one of the world's premier road-racing circuits, and the Skip Barber Schools for driving and racing. |
